IWES 2023
Second Italian Workshop on Energy Storage
25-27 January 2023
This workshop aims at gathering together the scientists and engineers working on batteries in public bodies (universities and national labs) and in private companies from the Italian community and beyond. The goal is to organize an interactive forum, where research achievements and goals can be shared easily and safely among all the battery stakeholders. The scientific program will feature selected presentations related to topics that cover fundamental and applied research in electrochemical energy storage.

IWES2023 - ORAL/POSTER Awards
During the IWES 2023 meeting, special honors have been given to the 5 best ORAL contributions presented by young scientists and the best 5 POSTER presentations. The evaluation committee for the poster awards was composed by all the IWES2023 invited speakers, while that for the oral awards was composed by the members of GISEL board.

Special issue
We are pleased to announce that all speakers in the IWES 2023 have an opportunity to submit articles to the Topical Collection “Advances in Energy Storage Materials/Devices and Solid-State Batteries”. The accepted articles will be published in the following MDPI journals: Batteries, Electrochem, Energies, Materials, Polymers. The deadline of the submission is September 30th, 2023.
